The first step would be to try reinstalling the Printer. Right-click Start and select Run. \In the Run dialog box, type in control printers and press OK. Locate your printer in the Printers section, Right click it and select Remove device. Restart your PC.

Canon Support site will have all available drivers for your scanner. It might not have scanner drivers for windows 11 since it is an older model. I am now attempting to download and install 2022-01 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 for x64-based Systems (KB5008353) after updating completely Saturday, January 22 2022. this illustrates that the system senses the scanner. but this suggests there is no scanner. even with this configuration, occasionally it works fine.
